Museu Terra joins Earth Day to celebrate our relationship with the planet through art and culture!

Join us for a family day of creation and reflection to imagine more sustainable futures and promote small actions that transform our environment.

Activities will take place at Sala Barcelona (Poblenou), from 10 AM to 3 PM.

All activities are free.

Hours: 10 AM–3 PM

All activities are free to access and do not require reservations during opening hours (except for guided tours, which have fixed times and require prior booking. You will find the registration link in the activity description). ).

Come whenever you like, wander freely, and participate in the ongoing activities, including the Reading Area you will find at the entrance of Sala Barcelona.

GUIDED TOUR | ALL AGES

Plastic. Brilliant or perverse?

Have you ever stopped to think why plastic is everywhere? From bags and bottles to medical devices… it has been a revolution, but also an enormous challenge for the environment.

During the guided tour of Plastic: Brilliant or Perverse? you can learn about its origins, how it has transformed society, and what we can do to use it more responsibly.

An open, accessible activity that encourages debate. Ideal for the curious, families, and anyone who wants to better understand the world around us.

Playing with Nature

In this space, babies and children can play safely with elements that promote free movement, following the work of Emmi Pikler, or with Montessori furniture, which fosters autonomy.

A variety of materials and textures, mostly from nature, that can be used for both symbolic play and construction.

Garden

Vegetables, fruits, and greens grow from the same soil… a treasure that is not always easy to find in big cities like Barcelona.

The Voice of the Neighborhood

Illustrated Herbarium

Have you ever noticed the plants growing on the Green Axis of Almogàvers Street? They are the green companions of the neighborhood that accompany us every day as we pass by!

In this creative activity, you will draw your own personal herbarium to learn to recognize them whenever you walk through Poblenou.

Marina Bafaluy, an illustrator and local resident, will guide you step-by-step: she will provide all the necessary materials and help you capture this small piece of urban nature on paper.

Take home a unique and very personal souvenir of the neighborhood!
